Great, great news. Now if PS3 will get off their arses about when GOW2 is dropping which will be AFTER the reg PS2 version, i'll be a happy camper for 2007.

Whodi, God of War 2 is ONLY for the PS2. 3, however, will be on PS3.

Well that certainly sucks ballz. One of my main reasons for wanting a PS3 was GOW2.

600 bucks for a ps3 seems a little nuts... ill stick with my 360

I'm still gonna have both, but prob won't drop the dough for a PS3 until MGS4 or GOW3 comes out. Or if they push out a final fantasy. Wheelman runied my day with that GOW news. Awful.

GTA4 will also be exclusively on 360....

it will be released on the 360 and PS3 simultaneously. And the only thing the 360 has exclusively is downloadable missions.

u are right but....... the ps3 release date in north america is november 17th...

The price? $499 dollars or 499 Euros for the 20 gig version, and $599 dollars or 599 Euros for the 60 gig version. In Canadian dollars, that will come to approximately $549 dollars for the 20 gig and $659 dollars for the 60 gig version.

Hirai also announced that Sony will try to get a grand total of six million units shipped by March 31, 2007, which is Sony's fiscal date: 2 million PS3s will be available during the initial launch window, another 2 million will be shipped before the end of 2006, and finally another 2 before March 31st.

The only other piece of information concerns the release date. GTA 4 will ship simultaneously for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 16, 2007. In Europe, the game will ship on October 19, 2007.

I think sw has owned every gaming system that's ever came out. Did you have a NeoGeo way back when?8)

I don't play anything besides Madden and Counter-strike. Much easier on a keyboard and a mouse... using those controllers for Halo is frickin' hard.

u just got to get used to a controller... have u played halo 1 on PC?

Kinda reminds me of a G4 special on the fall of the dreamcast, and they showed warehouses with shelves and shelves and shelves of unsold dreamcasts cause they weren't being ordered by stores cause noone was buying them. It is what drove Sega out of the hardware business and strictly into software. That Phantom junk is crazy though.

Did some follow-up research on this company. I don't know if the gaming console is a dead project or not, but it appears they have swtiched gears, and are building some type of keyboard/mouse device, to be used with your home PC, to play games.
