Bought this on Tuesday, and I am addicted. It's like Madden franchise mode, only on steroids. There are some quirks, but it is fascinating. Anybody else have this yet?

na i dont think u can play it on 360 yet and i dont have my old xbox anymore

Read the reviews, not at all impressed. A couple of guys whom I trust on video game opinions gave it a thumbs down as just another money making ploy by EA. I probably will never touch this game in my life. Expand the franchise mode on Madden and be done. I really can't think of anything more boring than a football game you can't play. What's the point? Gamespot also gave it a 7.2, and they rarely steer me wrong as well, although I count on guys I know opinion's a little more.

If Gamespot gave it a 7.2 then the game can't be that bad because Gamespot loves to give low ratings. 7.2 from Gamespot tells me that the game has a little potential.

Really? 7.2 is crappy. I think gamespot's ratings are generally right on. Like I said, they haven't steered me wrong yet.

I dunno whodi. I usually read from IGN and Gamespot....I just feel that those guys can be harsh on most games. They tend to nitpick at things that the average customer does not care about.

I must not be the average customer then, cause I have found gamespot to be very reliable if I am on the fence about a game. If it's below an 8, I won't even touch it unless I really wanna play it, or unless I had been waiting for it to come out, and bought it before reading a review.

But of course. Love it. Was one of the first people round these parts to have one. If you are gonna ask me to play Madden online, don't until after the first roster download, when I will buy another one month subscription to Xbox Live Gold. :lol:

I'm already on Xbox live, just silver and not gold. ratedgap is my handle. I was in the Madden Lobby Tuesday night and tried to sneak a game, but they are real good about keeping you out if your gold subscrip is not up to date. Bastards. lol I am playing Dead Rising until the roster comes out though.

good thing you stayed away. after further analysis, this game is a stinker. i have compiled a lengthy list of problems with this game, that i personally, cannot overlook. EA really dropped the ball on this one.

It doesn't really bother me that things have been missing from 360 Madden. All I care about is franchise mode really anyway, and playing against people. Those work just fine. Madden is one of those games that I have just resigned myself to buying every year, and taking the good with the bad. So it makes no sense for me to complain about it.

BUT, I haven't touched it since my initial foray, since no roster updates have been put out yet. I have been playign Dead rising, and after that will be playing Saints Row, which I bough too. Hopefully there will be a Madden download by then.

I hear that there are a lot of bugs in Saints Row. Like bridges becoming invisible while driving on them, making it impossible to know where you're going.

Well, that would suck if so. I haven't even unwrapped it yet.

Madden came out good. I am hooked on Superstar mode. LOLOL. Its kinda cool when....you create your character...I managed to get a QB. Slapped my name on him and everything....get drafted by the Chargers....demaded a trade....and now I am QB for the Saints. UNREAL!!! I don't know how the game works when you play a different position but as far as QB goes??? IT ROCKS!! You just have to get used to the camera and be a little forgiving aon how drunk your RB's can be sometimes.

Can't wait to dive into it.

The game is just downright fun whodi. Lots to do. Big and good lookin city. Excellent map. Radio tunes kick ass, I could go on and on. Botom line...Saints Row is basically a copycat homage to San Andreas with...some extra goodies that ultimately make the game better than GTA:SA.

That's what I read, and that's why I bought it, If I can ever get past the BRUTAL save system on Dead Rising, i'll get to play it.
