Sadly, the days when $1,000 got you 1,000 chicken pieces and a wedding license at Chicken Box have gone the way of Godchaux's, but during a one-day fundraising event Saturday, Nov. 10, $500 will get you a wedding ceremony at historic Pitot House that includes an officiant, photography, seating and a champagne toast for 20 guests, among other services.
