Hike for KaTREEna (www.hikeforkatreena.org) holds its Big TREEsy Giveaway from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, Jan. 5 at Joe Brown Park (10900 Lake Forest Blvd.). One thousand trees will be given to New Orleans residents, and there will be a seminar on tree planting and care by the City of New Orleans Department of Parks and Parkways.? [ Read more ]
