In the wake of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., Gov.
Bobby Jindal has created a task force to review school safety procedures, from prekindergarten through university level campuses. The multi-agency group includes the departments of safety and corrections, education, health and hospitals, children and family services, and boards from state universities, to be co-chaired by State Police Superintendent Col.
Michael Edmonson, and
James LeBlanc, Secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections.? [
