Algiers ferry rates begin this weekend

Veolia Transportation, which runs the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA), now controls the Algiers-Canal Street and Algiers-Chalmette ferry systems, which were handled by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD).
