Dave and Phil Alvin, the brothers who founded the Blasters and who recently recorded their first album together in 30 years,*will be coming to Rock 'n' Bowl Aug. 12*with their band The Guilty Ones.

The Alvins' new album,*Common Ground: Dave Alvin + Phil Alvin Play and Sing the Songs of Big Bill Broonzy, was released earlier this month to great reviews and*a feature*in*the online version of*The New Yorker,*where the entire album can be heard streaming online. NPR's World Cafe*has more.*
