Morrissey to perform in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre in June

English singer and writer Morrissey ? the outspoken former frontman for Manchester's landmark rock outfit The Smiths ? kicks off a 2015 tour in New Orleans this summer. The 17-date U.S. tour begins June 11 at the Saenger Theatre.

Morrissey's solo career includes his 1988 debut, Viva Hate, and his most recent studio album ? his 10th, the latest in a late-career comeback that began several years ago after a years-long hiatus ? is 2014's well-received*World Peace Is None of Your Business, featuring his trademark gloom and spry alt-pop.
