The Gay Krewe of Krewes parades Sunday, May 2
![]() Since the late 1950s, gay men have been parading as Mardi Gras krewes in New Orleans, and on Sunday, May 2 an homage and celebration to that tradition is in full order. The first annual Gay Krewe of Krewes rolls at 7 p.m. starting at North Rampart Street and Elysian Fields Avenue.
