Venerable Los Angeles-based punk band X will play House of Blues Sept. 4 on the band's summer tour. Tickets go on sale June 26 at 10 a.m.*

The band ? lead singer Exene Cervenka, guitarists John Doe and Billy Zoom and drummer D.J. Bonebrake ? have been working on solo projects and reuniting occasionally for tours, though they haven't released a new album for more than a decade.
