The fifth annual IPA Day is Aug. 6, and some area bars will celebrate it. Founded in 2011 by beer writer Ashley Routson (aka The Beer Wench), it?s intended to honor the most popular craft beer style in the country.

An important aspect of enjoying this hop-heavy and bitter beer style is freshness.?
