Cedric Grant, director of the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (S&WB), held a press conference last week to address the city?s latest boil-water alert, which was issued at 10 a.m. on July 24. The alert came a full seven hours after power went out at the Carrollton water plant, potentially allowing for contamination of the East Bank water supply.?
