Marcello's to open Metairie location next year

Marcello?s Restaurant and Wine bar(715 St. Charles Ave., 504-581-6333), the wine shop and rustic Italian restaurant hybrid on St. Charles Avenue, will open a third location in Metairie next year.

The Sicilian-focused wine bar will be taking over the space at 4860 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, which currently houses Coyote Blues, the Louisiana-based Mexican restaurant chain.

Marcello?s owners Gene Todaro Sr. and Jr. are partnering with Coyote Blues? parent-company owner, Kevin Moody, to revamp the space into an Italian restaurant mirroring their two existing bistros (the other Marcello?s is in Lafayette).?
