Three years after the Crab Trap restaurant closed due to catastrophic damage in Hurricane Isaac, Louis Lipps is bringing back his revered seafood boils, this time, across the street.

The Crab Trap Seafood Restaurant (105 Gary Road, 985-224-2000)*opens Thursday, Oct. 15.*

Lipps, whose casual seafood spot had garnered a following, didn?t rebuild following the storm.?
