Several local breweries and craft beer halls have opened in New Orleans in the last year, but Tchoupitoulas Beer Garden (840 Tchoupitoulas St.) seems to be the only one to have a menu of boilermakers. Its upscale shot-and-a-beer combos include Four Rose's small batch bourbon and Bayou Teche Cocodrie and the "Fancy Hobo," a shot of Chartreuse and a can of Stiegl Grapefruit Radler.*

The German-style beer garden holds an opening party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.?
