Andrew Godley, founder and president of Parish Brewing*Company*(229 Jared Drive, Broussard, 337-330-8601;*www.parishbeer.com), generally eschews traditional public relations and didn't need to do much to promote Grand Reserve day on Nov. 21, when the brewery releases its annual barleywine.*Only 400 tickets were available, and they sold out quickly.

?We could sell a lot more, but I don?t think it would be feasible to handle a bigger crowd,? Godley says. ?It?s important to me that we deliver quality to the folks that attend.?
