Chocolate and Amaro event kicks off Bellocq cocktail pop-up series

Pairing the herbaceous Italian liqueur amaro with the bittersweet flavors of chocolate might not be the first combination that comes to mind when mixing drinks, but for Bellocq bartender Brian Kientz, it was a natural fit. The pairing will be highlighted Tuesday (Feb. 16), when Kientz launches the first in a series of cocktail-related pop-up events at the St. Charles Avenue craft cocktail bar, which sits at the bottom of the Hotel Modern (936 St. Charles Ave., 504-962-0911).? |
