New Arabi bar Pirogue?s Whiskey Bayou (6940 St. Claude Ave., 504-676-3357) is throwing an official grand opening bash Saturday, May 14.

Muriel Altikriti, Lisa McCracken and Kelly Scheeran ? longtime Bywater bartenders who worked at Markey?s and BJ?s Lounge ? opened the in late February.?
