When word spread last spring that a new restaurant specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches would be opening in Mid-City, the news sounded familiar. After all, *The Big Cheezy, which serves a long list of creative spins on the classic sandwich, had just opened around the corner, near the intersection of S. Broad Street and Tulane Avenue.*

But a year later, as Melt (2549 Banks St.), the new restaurant from Barcadia partner Miles Tully Jr., readies to open, it?s clear much more than the childhood staple is at play.?
