Sandwich and milkshake shop The Milk Bar will close its Delachaise Street location (1545 Delachaise St.) on May 27.*

Australian owner Inta Phayer and her husband Kevin opened the spot near Touro Infirmary seven years ago, after Hurricane Katrina and the federal floods forced the couple to shutter their flagship restaurant near Charity Hospital, which had been open since the 1990s.*
