Joanna Newsom's immense 2010 triple album Have One on Me opened her gorgeous arrangements in*widescreen, a sweeping, panoramic vision of heartbreak demanding close and repeat listens. Following her breakthrough second LP Ys, Have One on Me gathered lush, elegant arrangements with Newsom at her harp and as a lyricist spinning intricate fable-like narratives and intimate portraits, sung in her famously creaking old house of a voice, from some heavenly opera or an imagined Appalachian siren.
