The New Orleans Film Society will present a preview and fundraising event for Mardi Gras Indian documentary Hail to the Queens on Tuesday, August 9 at 6 p.m. at 3 Keys @ The Ace Hotel, 600 Carondelet St. Directed by local filmmaker Brian Nelson, the work-in-progress film examines the lives and community presence of six Mardi Gras Indian Queens in New Orleans. Footage from the film will be screened followed by a performance by Queen Reecie & Co., who appear in the film.?
