The nomenclature can be confusing.

Heart disease, coronary artery disease, cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease ? and don?t get started on the acronyms (CAD, CVD, CHD, etc.) ? it?s hard to know if you?re sick or eating alphabet soup. Each of these terms refer to a condition that falls under the umbrella of heart disease.?
