Not sure how much stock I put in this. It's well known Gale Benson LOVES the Pelicans. I think this is a rumor that will always dog the Pets because of how much the Saints rule this town.

Apparently Benson purchased the team for 318m & can probably sell for 1B. Not wishing the team to be sold but something to think about. |

IMHO, they are probably worth what Benson paid for them, $300 million; and they weren't worth even that when they bought them. |

The Jazz had great support when they played in New Orleans. Of course the Saints sucked then, so that probably helped.
