The Sixers have reportedly traded guard Willie Green and center Jason Smith to the Hornets for forwards Darius Songaila and Craig Brackins.
Green's arrival hurts the potential value of Marco Belinelli (who is backing up Marcus Thornton), although they may plan on using him at back up point guard, as Mustafa Shakur is currently the first line of defense behind Chris Paul. We're not sure what Philly got in the deal, but the loss of Green should clear more minutes for Jason Kapono and Jodie Meeks, and could be another sign that Evan Turner is the starting shooting guard in Philly.
