I don't blame anyone for wanting to leave the Hornets franchise. Poor ownership, management and personnel moves are to blame.

If the owners in this case unlike the NFL get what the want the NBA will be better for it, and I can promise when the Hornets will get a new owner the team will improve from it.

With the current landscape of the NBA its damn near impossible to make money, Mark Cuban has lost money on the Mavs every year since he bought it, the Spurs ownership often didnt make a profit until a deep playoff run took place *Western Confernce Finals* to make cash *reported 9 million*.

Outside of Lakers, Knicks, Celtics, Bulls, and now the Heat...every other owner is losing money in the NBA. The Hornets are a prime example of this as anyone interested in buying the team sees the books and wants to play the wait and see game with the new CBA.

Unlike the NFL, the NBA owners have been totally up front and have no problem opening up the books to show its players this. Currently the NBA revenue is split 57 - 43 for the players...the players dont want a hardcap which they fell will hurt the chance to make money.

The biggest proof that owning a NBA team is hard to make money is none other than its greatest player Micheal Jordan, as he recently had to sell his image and name to 2ksports this past year to create cash flow for his newly bought Bobcats.

Sorry went off on a bit of a rant on this one, as Im a huge fan of the NBA and NFL, and both lockouts and the business side catch my attention.
