Pelicans total miss
 

Should have been the Mudbugs. Who in La does not like crawfish and as for a regional appeal, TX and MS like em' just them same. I'm living in Salt Lake City right now and guess what? Natives from here catch them and boil them up too, spoke to one today.

That's worse than the Pelicans. Bacchus or Krewe would've been nice. Brass was decent. But Pelicans is cool. Then logo is perfect.

Mudbugs is a fun name, but I think it sounds like a minor league baseball team.

I was kind of dubious on the name "Pelicans" when I first heard it, but it has grown on me, and they absolutely nailed it with the logo. That thing looks great! (and the secondary logos are pretty cool too).

I agree WarEagle. I wasn't real happy w/ Pelicans when it first came out, but coupled up w/ that logo and I love it!! Now all we have to do is WIN!!

i'm still not sure about pelicans, even though i don't hate it.. would have preferred brass. i like the logo though

I like the Pelicans name but think they should have just made the team the New Orleans Saints. Kinda like you had the New York Giants in both football and baseball...

Agree. I was more onboard with "Brass" or "Krewe", but once I saw the logos, "Pelicans" seemed a good fit.
