New Orleans Pelicans announce they have signed Jimmer Fredette and Patric Young

Jimmer Ferdette was so fun to watch in college. I think he has a lot of upside and he is undoubtedly a great set shooter who can spread the floor and provide an offensive spark off the bench. If Asik and Davis can be a force down low maybe Ferdette can get a lot of open shots. As for Patrick Young, he is undoubtedly an upgrade over Stiesma who I'm amazed ever played in the NBA. Pelicans fans actually have a reason to hope. I predict they'll make the playoffs. Davis is one of the NBAs best players. Davis and Asik could provide the Pelicans with the NBAs best front court and Holiday is a former All Star and Evans was rookie of the year a few years ago. With a little luck they could even make a nice playoff run. Unfortunately the West is loaded. But with a stud like Anthony Davis anything is possible.
