For some reason Arrogant Rodgers bothers me more than Tom Terrific.
Maybe it's all those stupid television commercials.
Never had a problem with Peyton Manning either until every other commercial was Peyton selling Cars,Pizza, Insurance or whatever.

For me, he bothers me way more than Brady as well. He just has a punchable face and his demeaning way he speaks to people like he has a better pot to piss in

Don't have a problem with them getting paid at all; Peyton at least has a personality and good, healthy self-deprecating humour; Tom, truly an accomplished QB, comes off a little full of himself...

My problem is when athletes and hollywood-types with their purses and privileges try to project their politics onto average American civilians - they live in secured, gated communities...

It's going to come down to how much he enjoys playing. All this talk of retiring is outside noise. He has said many times is isn't going to even consider retiring until the season is over and he's had several weeks to wind down and think about it. The last thing he wants to do his retire and then decide he really wants to keep playing, ala Favre.

An NFL QB at 45 is not what he is used to be in years past.

3 Reasons why:

1.) Lifestyle - In the 60's, 70's, players partied HARD and football players were underpaid. They smoked, drank and gambled a lot! Not to say they don't now, but seriously doubt they smoke cigs. In 70's and 80's cocaine hit the NFL scene and players abused their bodies. Today, players are a lot cleaner and playing drunk will make you look like the Jets every weekend.

2.) Rules - QB's enjoy a lot of pocket rules since the late 90's that have changed player longevity.

3.) Healthcare - in general, people live longer because we have better access to healthcare now. Medicine and Sports Medicine surgeries are actually a thing. Back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's, if you got hurt, you got pain killers and a shot of cortisone and were told to go play. Cortisone has its place in medicine but it actually prolongs the healing process and hides underlying injuries.

WOW - I can't believe I wrote all that crap. WOW 2 - I can't believe anybody will read all that crap!

Me with my new Christmas gift. Someone tell Brady, Gronk, Papa Smurf Arians and any other NFL player identifying as a pirate that their time is up!

I know I can’t get another by the same artist, but I want another real remembrance after this season is over signifying the same result.

I would agree with that, Brees is super competitive and as long as the fire is still burning he will continue.
Can't imagine what it's like for his Kids trying to beat the "Old Man" in some backyard games. Not to mention rainy days at the monopoly board.

I'm always surprised and disappointed with the individuals that listen to people who act for a living and take their word as gospel.

Dang, JP. Don't get me started. I just got home from church.
