Good for him, hope it works out for him and his family.

I wonder if Pete Carmichael is hanging around for when Payton moves on. Not that I’m wanting him to. So hold the phones please.

We should hire Pederson then.

I think if Dennis Allen ever gets another Head Coaching job, our next defensive coordinator is Ryan Nielsen.

FWIW, I see Dan Campbell has hired AARON GLENN as his new Def Coordinator up in Detroit.

Congrats and good luck.

Losing a bunch of coaches already and expecting to lose a bunch of players to appease the cap situation.

DA had his chance K that’s why they shy away from him.

I wonder if that means a free agent like Marcus Williams will be Detroit-bound.

Wonder how Payton feels about Campbell taking Glenn with him?

Probably pissed but I'm kinda surprised it took this long for us to lose coaches.

I wouldn't feel so bad if we had gotten another Lombardi before they departed.

I doubt he’s surprised at all. Glenn interviewed for a head coaching job... it was time for Glenn to take the next step in his career.

Williams is suppose to be our priority in Free Agency...

You either get BITTER or you get BETTER. It’s that simple.
You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to FATE . It belongs to YOU!!

I think Dan is definitely a better people-person than his predecessor. Hoping he does well and makes the Bears, Packers and Vikings sweat a little more.

Hate to say, but very quietly the Falcons made a decent coaching hire in Smith from the Titans. IMO he's one of the top 10 offensive minds in the NFL, he got a lot out of Tannehill and the Titans WR's and TE's (RB Henry is in a class of his own). Our annual quest to sweep the Dirty's is not going to be easy.

I think he had a very solid year. Definitely one more of the best ball hawks that we have in the secondary. I don’t see anyone on our current roster that can replace him. We need CGJ to stay in the role/position that he was in.

Saw some clips of his introductory press conference... Was this guy always such a corny meathead? Good lord he’s cringey.

Like the former Saints assistant that was hired by Illinois. First words out of his mouth: " it's great to be the head coach at Ill A Noise" LOL

Detroit is one of the ugliest cities I've seen and it's always nasty and cold. No way I would take a job to move there. Hey, at least it's not Cleveland! :p
