Not a terrible idea. But I think there are more economically wise routs to go. With the cap unknowns, taking on a 25 to 30 million contract would be tough.

The Saints are 90M+ over the cap with 45 players.

Front office brass with need to sign a FA QB on the cheap (Winston, Trubisky, Brisette) & draft one.

You may have missed my point as it relates to our current cap situation. I provided lower tier QB's (for example purposes only) who won't command huge salaries in 2021 as viable back up options.

Dakota Prescott, Stafford, DWatson aren't practical options in New Orleans.

You have a BMW M5 appetite working with a Kia Forte budget :p.
