That is very sweet of Demario Davis, but this chapter has ended. Best to Brees. Professionally, he can do anything in on air or other things.
Personally, he has a young family to raise and is very healthy to do so. Staying in the game too long and getting hurt and having a really bad season to end on are not worth it.

I love Davis so much, and I get where he’s coming from. You’re on a rebuilding team now though Demario... We’ll need you’re leadership to set us up in the future.

We should have beaten the Super Bowl champions. If you think this team isn't a contender, you are wrong. We had so many screw ups in the TB game, and yet was right there really.
