Just not the same for me. I enjoy movies for the story. The same as novels I have read over and over. Music brings another sensation, but one that is still embellished by listening again. However, when I watch football my enjoyment comes solely from the unknown, dynamic nature. I'll record some sporting events thinking I'll watch them later, but never do because I already know the outcome.

I hear you, and fully understand. But entertainment is entertainment is entertainment..., to me, lol. Time and place for everything and while I do watch movies and listen to music much more often, repeatedly, than a sporting event, I still do go back and watch replays of sporting events. But, in all truthiness, even sporting events don’t “do it” for me anymore. I much prefer a wine-tasting. I think since I’ve already been at the Saints NFC Championship game and Super Bowl as a season ticket holder, I just didn’t get as “excited” in successive years, and I don’t regret letting my season tickets go away, at all. I do go back and replay games from the SB year as they “take me to another place and time”. Same for music and/or movies though.

Bottom line - for me..., nothing gets me as excited as a very good charcuterie board, live music outside, and a couple bottles of M5 Stagecoach Cab for my partner in crime and myself, along with family and friends at a big table.

Once again the day RailBoss realized that there truly was a God watching over our beloved Saints.
We all have our favorite players however I will always be grateful for Tracy O'Neil Porter the kid from Port Allen.

Well, I'm not into watching commercials so it works for me.

Edit: When I do watch games other than the Saints, like a divisional rival, I record them. I watch the Saints live because I can't throw my mojo to my beloved Saints after the game is over....

I will occasionally watch old games that I find on You Tube. The old games I enjoy most are the games Chuck Muncie played in. I still can't get over how big and fast he was.
