There are going to be many more terminated contracts not only here but across the league. Anyone that doesn't create lots of dead money, no matter how important, can be released to meet the COVID related 2021 cap.

Cook was worth the signing in 2019. 2020 was just an atrocious year for him. Looks like he's hit the cliff.

Josh was a solid TE, great blocker and though he wasn't used much as a receiver I honestly don't remember him dropping a good pass when his number was called. Thanks for your service and hope we can replace the talent.

Josh Hill will be back. I don’t know if people understand just how important he is to our offense.

I do wonder about Rudolph... If he can be signed on a budget.

I think he still has gas in the tank and he can still block and catch on a high level.

Also, the Vikes' castaways have been pretty good for the Saints in the past.

Probably comes down to money and Trautman along with maybe Hill on a new contract and a rookie might be all that the Saints need at TE.
