Do you suppose that Payton would want to broadcast his return to upcoming opponents? It wouldn't surprise me if he's playing Sunday.

He’s going to have to practice so we’ll find out more as the week goes on. He hasn’t been activated from the PUP list yet and I assume they’ll do that well in advance to get him up to speed.

I believe he came off PUP following week six. We'll see tomorrow in the first practice report.

I think that was the COVID list. The whole thing is just kind of strange.

Don't think so. PUP is strictly six weeks. You either come off or go to season ending IR I believe. He came off the COVID list earlier.

Thomas is officially still on the PUP list. He came off the COVID-19 list two weeks ago.

I had to look it up because I wasn’t really sure what the rule is. It looks like the player must sit out six weeks and then teams have a five week window to activate said player.

If my math adds up, that means Mike has three weeks to start practicing or he’ll be shut down for the year. Glad you got me to look that up because I didn’t have much clarity on the situation.

Believe it's like Reserve, Injured, there's a Designation to Return, then there's like a 3 week window...

Now as AG astutely suggested, Sean's gamemanship factored, Saints could DTR, then MT might play that week...
