And suddenly we have the worst Qb room in the division. I think Darnold is going to do well in Charlotte. I’d love to have Teddy back.

Why would we want him back? He's what he was as a starter in Carolina. Lower tier, back-up future at best.

The Jets got crap in return for Darnold. I doubt he does any better in Carolina than he did in New York. The Jets had to unload him so they could pick another bust at QB this year in the draft.

I don't know anything but I like what I've seen from Sam Darnold. The few times I watched him he looked competent. Hopefully, both Carolina and I are wrong and he chokes like all his predecessors. :chug:

Didn’t say I did want him back. However if he was cut loose, having a backup
for the right price that has already gone undefeated with the team and is familiar with the scheme certainly couldn’t hurt. Rather have him than Simean all things being equal.

He has a lifetime completion percentage under 60% (lower than Cam Newton). He has a QB rating of 79.6 (Cam Newton 85.8). He's no more than a mid-tier starter in my book.

Funny, I was thinking the same about Teddy B and Carolina. He struggled there last year with play and injury. Looked better with the Saints. I’m hoping the same is true with Jameis.

If they think darnal is gonna lite it up that 2 gloves couldn’t with that same team and staff that got coached in there debut as nfl coach’s , this ain’t college ball anymore. Don’t get me wrong they gave it there all, but they have to build it.

Carolina has weapons......good OL, very good WRs, and probably the best all purpose RB in the league. We're about to see if Gase was the problem again.

Nothing overly exciting about Darnold as a starter. At least he has CM in the backfield. Good luck to him in Carolina. He'll need it.

No telling how long he'll have McCaffrey in that backfield. I have a feeling his body is breaking down because of the early workload. He had over 400 touches in 2019 after having 326 in 2018 and was only able to play in three games in 2020.

I think he looked decent with the Saints but I think it was more about conservative offensive play and strong defense that won those games. Teddy did a great job protecting the football and not putting us in a position to lose. I think if we had to play from behind in any of those games we would have seen a different result. Same goes for Hill last year, except for the ball security part.
