Defense Or Offense With Our First Pick?
 

We have major needs on the defensive side of the ball. DI, DE, LB, Corner and possibly safety come to mind first.

On offense we need a WR, TE, O-line depth because we got beat last year on our line when injuries hit us. Some folks might even say we need a QB and possibly a RB. Where should we address the holes after all of our cuts and releases?

I'm going defense in the first round. I want a top notch corner in the first and a side to side LB in the second round. I'd like us to double dip at CB if possible and the talent is there.

Can't seem to have enough OL, if there's a LT high enough rated I'd be OK using the #1 on him. Otherwise defense is fine with me any position BPA.

No clue. Whatever the powers that be decide on. I'll be willing to bet it is either offense or defense, however, as his primary position.

Does that includes guys who are top talent prospects with a medical concerns from past injuries? … Caleb Farley - CB Va Tech or Jaelan Phillips - DE from Miami.

Both are considered Day 1 draft selections.

If their chart has them as best BPA then why not? I would doubt they'd have them ranked that high without taking everything under consideration.

If the coaches have either rated higher than anyone else at 28 then yes.

All I know is that I can't wait for the draft to get here. I was decked out in my Saints gear and mask when my pharmacist wanted to talk draft the other day, but when she realized what I had to share she didn't have the time. I almost laughed out loud. Thanks for educating me gents.
