Well, this is a tough one. The smart, logical, choice is to go with Sewell in order to strengthen that o-line and protect the franchise QB. However, this is Cincinnati, and a rare talent is available. So, for jersey sales and big-name impact, the Bengals select Ja’marr Chase, LSU WR.


So...I guess that means we take the wise choice in Penei Sewell.

The Lions need an addition receiving threat. Pitts is a freak receiver in a TE body. Could turn out to be Megatron 2.0.

Moving things along... with the 8th pick the Carolina Panthers select OT Rashawn Slater.

The Panthers spent considerable resources on the defense in last year’s draft and this offseason. Now with Sam Darnold in the mix the Panthers would be wise to keep him from “seeing ghosts” like he did in NY.

The Cowboys are in dire need of several cogs. TE was one, but the only viable early option went to the Lions in Pitts. Most of the other missing pieces remaining are on defense and with the tenth pick in the draft Dallas will fill one of those holes with the second defensive player off the board ...
