Only if he knows for sure that the Lasik and new tutelage fixed Winston's bad judgement. I know that Hill is still in the running at QB. But I really don't think he has the ceiling that Winston does. Hill is in the perfect position for his talents as the Swiss army knife and he is the only one in the NFL who holds that title. Personally at his age I'd be ecstatic that everyone in football knows my name...and not in a bad way.

If taysom gets away from his Swiss Army knife roll it’s gonna be worst than Winston at full throttle (IMO) made up my mind after watching the replay of him again against Philly. We lose because of that fumble instead him tuck and run for 2 frickin yards, he trying to play Drew Brees and was striped like a streaker back in my day.

Don’t forget Payton always loves getting the ball to his backs via screens and dump routs. Having Kamara and the “L train” in the backfield...along with a healthy CGM gives a lot of potential. Adding a known commodity in Clapp helps too. If Trautman (the fish), and/or Callaway, or Smith, Harris, Humphries can click with Winston they will keep rolling. It will suck if Hill isn’t available to use in his “slash” roll.
That is his most valuable contribution.

There will be one major difference this year without Drew. Expect Sean to break with tradition and watch us run the hell out of the ball. No one will see it coming!

I believe Payton will continue to do just as he has the past decade and a half and let the opponent's defense dictate the play. When the defense shades toward the run go with the pass, and vice versa. Of course, that's going to require the QB making the right call at the line.
