Putting two first round picks into one player rather than two players doubles the risk of injury on your investment. Do you not think that some of us fit that into the equation? That’s part of the reach/risk.
Every player at one point or another will suffer injuries. Do you not draft any of them?

No, but when you do spend two very late first rounders (basically two high second rounders) you have no clue the player will suffer a turf toe injury and miss time before perhaps eventually becoming a perennial All Pro.
