Maybe he could start his tenure as the tackle-eligible guy until he's ready for a tackle spot (just like Strief)

Im happy we got this dude. Im bias as hell but he played very well as soon as he stepped on campus. He had a injury derail him for a while but came back the same player.

yeah I think the reason him and Drake Jackson fell so far is because lack of pass protection tape. Kentucky has had a terrible Qb since they both started and almost always played for rushing yards.

Great stuff. Landon is very grounded, eager to learn & seems genuinely honored to have the opportunity to perform in New Orleans. He's all about giving back to the community too. Could become a diamond in the rough inside those trenches.

I really like how our draft choices are being interviewed by former (Stinchcomb, Harper, Bushrod) Saints legends as well.

Landon Young. He won’t make the roster. Too many good backups already on the roster.

But on vet contracts, right? A late round rookie costs much less against the cap, right? We'll see. My money's on the cheaper marginally equal option.

Yes, and no. That is a public statement of ignorance of college football. I will readily admit that. I am not that interested in the college game as I have no dogs in the hunt besides NC State and with the pandemic and such I don't know any of the players this year ... and to be honest most years.

Once the players reach the NFL and become viable players I become far more interested. I love the pro game so much more. I know far more about the pro game than I do college or lower. Since I have no input upon which college players go where I don't choose to waste my time delving into all of them. Once the Saints draft them, however, I become very interested in everything to do with them.

Then again, you didn't answer my question. What's special about this McGrones guy, JP? What makes him better than Werner for the Saints?
