Probably the best 21:48 seconds of Saints football that I have ever listened to. I know a lot of people have varied opinions of Sean Payton but all I am getting is thoughtful, pragmatic, and articulate... Will I wouldn't say that his leading virtue is humility, I also do not get gunslinger hubris.

I enjoy hearing that there is competition as much as I dislike it simply because a decision needs to be made to move forward and get ready for the season.
Id also probably prefer if coaches also had to compete for their spot each season. Might not be a pragmatic approach but I believe we have had some coaches through recent years that should have been on the street.:bng:

Good stuff. I just watched it for the first time.

It was hard for me to get past the NFL Network saying that our 2nd round pick was Ritchie Grant at the 10:34 mark. :confused:

Oh well. I still like Payton as HC for the Saints. I'd have him as a top 3-5 coach in the NFL right now.

I would be shocked if Jameis doesn't start. We'll see though. In Payton I trust.
