Hell, I had an older (than me) woman tell me at a local bar pre-pandemic, “Of course you would say that, you’re from the south” even though I had lived outside of Louisiana for 35 years vs the 10 I did.

Kind of opposite. I was born outside and have spent most my 63 years here in Louisiana. I love the hell out of this state.
