Hicks has been a dawg for both. Solid against the run and decent in coverage. Honestly speaking, after Demario it gets extremely dicey at LB play. Baun is still a huge question mark & Werner is a rookie.

As for his availability, he's played & started in all 16 games 2 years straight.

Matt made good arguments on the "need" for a player like Hicks though.

Just imagine if we had Hicks to start and when Kwon is back on the field then we'll have one heck of a good LB'er group. We could take a current weakness and turn it into a strength with Davis leading the charge for the LB'ers. I'm in for signing both.
