Dre Kirkpatrick visiting Saints
 

The Saints may have found a veteran for their defensive backfield.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, New Orleans is bringing in Dre Kirkpatrick for a visit.

Kirkpatrick most recently played for the Cardinals in 2020, appearing in 14 games and starting 11. He recorded three interceptions and seven passes defensed for the club.

Kirkpatrick was a longtime Bengals corner, playing 99 games for them over eight seasons. He has 13 career interceptions and 72 passes defensed.

I hope Dre' and the Saints come to an agreement and he signs in NO.

Cornerback is a position of need.

Damn skippy! Sign him to a fairly cheap contract and give him the playbook. I'm still looking towards the final cut down so we can see who is available to help fill out the holes in our roster.

They quietly restructured Lattimores 5th year option today so somethings in the works.

Saints are smart to let the market play out and sign for value.

After Lattimore's restructure it feels like there's another move or two could be coming.

I'm as excited as a kid on Christmas eve. Loomis always give me good presents. Let's see what he gets me this year! I hope it's a WR, LB'er, or CB. Just a role player would be nice to have for depth purposes or a solid #2 CB works too.
