So is the plan to leave Ruiz @ guard in 2021 instead of his natural center position?

If the combo of McCoy at center and Ruiz at RG is stronger than Ruiz at center and McCoy at RG then I would imagine so. That may be saying more on McCoy's guard play as it says on Ruiz' play at center. I don't think we can go wrong whichever way they go.

I fully expect to see McCoy moved to guard. Ruiz is too small for guard but he's just right for center. McCoy was slow to pick up on the pre snap signals which he got better at last year. I believe the plan was for Ruiz to play center and move McCoy to guard but an abbreviated training camp cut that dream short. If Ruiz is left at guard I smell trouble for both of our guards.

We have no holdouts and full participation, right? If so that is certainly a good thing!

Yes, and even better yet, it's looking like the player pool should easily reach the 85% vaccination rate stressed by the league according to Payton. He added that the training staff has been doing a great job educating the players on an individual basis on the importance of getting vaccinated for the good of themselves, their families, and the franchise as a whole. He said that 100% of the Saints staff from top to bottom have been vaccinated. That's everyone in the building from executives through janitorial services.
