Glad I dated a few second round picks before I found a worthy first round pick then huh ? I’m glad the law doesn’t look at the second rounders I’ve dated the same way they look at the First rounder I married the same way as first round picks as second round picks, otherwise i’d be in trouble.

Nutshell is I’m saying that being married is not the same thing as Basically being married. And a second round pick is not the same thing as a first round pick. You missed my point. My bad for not being clearer AG.

Living together for years is minimally different than life after making it official. Filing taxes "married filing jointly" is the greatest difference. Just like a pick in the very bottom of the 1st inning is minimally different than a pick at the very top of the 2nd. The first has a 5th year option. I got your point, but it was flawed.

My question is why did you feel it was a good time to raise this topic again? I simply stated that I didn't feel Payton's getting "officially" married wouldn't affect his focus one way or another and it turns into a debate over the relative difference between a late round 1st and a early round 2nd.

I drafted a couple of Ricky Williams's and a JaMarcus Russell or two before my wife drafted me and I have been out classed since. For 23 years I have been telling her that she is out of my league, she keeps trying to convince me otherwise. Each day I cross my fingers and heart and pray to the baby Jesus that her eye sight and hearing never get any better or I'll get the boot...:bng:
