Elite RAS scores (football IQ is off the charts) & very good sudden/short distance movements. More importantly, he's durable. I don't think you'll see Pete "guessing" out there either.

Really hoping we finally nailed a LB in the draft.

The more I read and hear about Werner the more excited I get. He's learning the ropes from All Pro Demario Davis and is in the right place to grow. God, that sounds cliché and corny but also appropriate. Fingers crossed that he's smart enough and talented enough to have a shadow of Davis' success. Maybe this time we can actually develop a LB'er.

Pete Werner continues to impress me. Initially, wasn't all that elated about the pick, not a lot of "flash" but what the hell do I know?

When he tackles (see open field tackle on Josh Jacobs) you, it's pretty much a wrap. No pun intended :bng:

Not a whole lot of guessing in his game.

I think Pete got his bumps and bruises out of the way against Atlanta. Since then he’s been our most consistent player on defense.

Pete Warner has been a very pleasant surprise for me. He played well last year but this year his game has really come together nicely. I believe that he is the future in New Orleans when Demario Davis hangs up his cleats.
