Um, do the Angels or do they not play MLB? What's wrong about it? Name ONE, JUST ONE other team in any sport in the United States, professional sport, that has a name like Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Just one. There aren't any. So that is something specific to baseball, not life. Yikes.

Baseball. One other professional sport team with a similar name. Just one. Then it MAY be considered life. Otherwise taking an isolated and otherwise silly (by MLB and not you) instance like that to try to prove that putting a team in Los Angeles or Anaheim for the NFL would not qualify as a team for both is still, futile.

In a court hearing Friday, the city will seek a temporary restraining order that would immediately stop the team from using its new name, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The lawsuit claims that name violates the stadium lease, charging the name is "nonsensical," deprives the city of the publicity associated with the name Anaheim Angels and "makes a mockery of Anaheim" by putting it "in the tail of a name overshadowed by another city."

The suit also asks that the Angels be required to restore the Anaheim name to prominence in marketing and merchandising, which the city contends would correct another lease violation but could force the team to discard its winter advertising campaign and ruin owner Arte Moreno's plan to generate additional revenue by broadening the Angels' appeal beyond Orange County.

Look, Benson is going to get a new stadium and a new city of New Orleans in which to play. There is no way the commish is going to allow any move to happen with the Saints for at least the time period it takes to get the city back to 100% again, probably 2 to 3 years at best estimates, which will also be past the timeframe that they wanted a team in LA, I guess San Diego and Indy will be the two teams in the running for that city.

The Saints aren't going anywhere.
