Don’t worry about Ian Book.

He’s used to slow starts. His career has been filled with them.

On the first snap of his first youth league game, he was sacked on a blind-side blitz and ended up with facemask full of turf. And at Notre Dame, he started out fourth on the depth chart and was beaten out for the starting job as a redshirt freshman and sophomore.

None of it fazed him. So a so-so performance in his unofficial NFL debut isn’t going to stop the New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback. In fact, it only serves to motivate him.

I'm not going to say that he's the man to bring home the Lombardi but it would be nice if he works out to be a solid number two.

If only he had a stronger arm, I’d be on board

Yea, Drew never had a live arm but it wasn’t Chad Pennington weak. Drew had really good mechanics that made it look stronger than it actually was too

Yup. His throwing coach, Tom House, had him use every inch of his body to build torque. House says that the energy for the throw begins at the feet and travels through the body all of the way to the fingertips. Energy can be lost all along that pathway with improper mechanics. Injuries to Drew late in his career threw a few "speed bumps" into that pathway.

Best Saints original QB since Delhomme. Don't let him get away.

Have you been hacked?

Do a little research. It's called biomechanics. Tom House's clients include the following:

Matt Ryan.
Tom Brady.
Drew Brees.
Andy Dalton.
Blake Bortles.
Jared Goff.
Matt Stafford.
Carson Wentz.
